When I was in high school, I underwent an experience that I had a hard time talking about for years.  I was afraid of judgment, misunderstanding, and disbelief.

Every time I spoke about it, I couldn’t hold back the tears.  At that time, I didn’t know of any support for rape victims and had no idea who to turn to.

It was only through the help of God that I was healed from the inside out and I was able to forgive.  I’m sure there was no other way the healing could’ve come.

I just needed God, those who love me, and constant movement.  I didn’t allow my circumstance to keep me stuck.

And I’m not the only one who has been through it.  This is a constant matter that often goes unnoticed.  One rising statistic is the number of women who are victims of military sexual trauma.  The issue is that the number is growing rapidly.

I recently met Sarah Plummer, who has an incredible story to tell.  She is an amazing example to women with her teaching and example.  She is a survivor of military sexual trauma, post traumatic stress disorder, and numerous other circumstances.  She is unstoppable!  The more you learn about her, the more you will be astonished.

We will be having a deep conversation about her career in the Marines, her accomplishments, and what she’s currently working on.  Watch the interview to learn about how to she got unstuck, battled depression, and stopped feeling sorry for herself.

Just some of the biggest lessons are:

  • Personal accountability
  • Removing your self from expectations and trusting God
  • Staying active and connected

Also, we’ll get to know about the roots of Semper Fidelis and how the philosophy ties in with Semper Sarah.  Click play to watch the interview to learn how an otherwise sad topic can be looked at in a positive light..
