I recently heard about the ancient Egyptians and what they said about going to heaven. They are asked two questions when they approach the pearly gates:
Did you find joy in your life?
Did you bring joy to others?
These questions moved me because there are many of us who have never considered them, including me.
I always knew that I wanted to help women and obviously be happy but I never thought of both in this context.  I want you to ask yourself these questions today.  Ask yourself these questions when it comes to your relationship with your significant other, your spouse, or your loved ones.  What are you going to do to make these questions a reality throughout the course of your life?  Remember, we have one life to live.  We might as well have a couple of things to feel good about.  Get to work! 😀
Comment below and let me know what you have done to bring joy to yourself and others. I’d love to hear about it!
Hi IviAna! I figured I’d stop by and check the place out. And to my surprise, I was welcomed with two great questions that I’m more than happen to answer. It’s pretty late, so I’m going to keep this as short as possible!
I bring joy to myself by simply embedding myself within what I love. I’m a family man and I love being around my family, playing with my kids and living the life that I always dreamed as a kid – and that I wished for when I was a kid. It’s been the biggest and most important gift to have a family and I love it. That brings me more joy than anything.
And for others – I *try* to bring joy to others by being a friend; by extending my hand to help others in any way that I can. I’m very blessed and I try to do what I can to pass blessings on to others. Sometimes people take me the wrong way because “I guess” it’s not the norm. People think I may be trying to take advantage, but the truth is that I get a rush from helping people. Like some get a rush from drugs – I get that feeling from making people smile.
So, I must extend myself here. If there’s ANYTHING I can assist you with, I’m more than willing. I don’t know a lot – but I can try my best!
Take care Iviana! By the way, you have a great thing going here!
Great answer! Everything you said was wonderful! I try to do the same thing with family and trying to live my life the way I dreamed of when I was a kid is definitely what I do. I’m so glad you took the time to stop by!
Absolutely my pleasure Iviana. It was a nice exercise that got me thinking good thoughts!
Make the most of your day!
